Hello from our Airbnb in Berat, Albania. We really like most of the house, but the kitchen and the bathroom are disgustingly filthy. We washed all the cutlery, plates and coffee cups tonight which we would normally do before using. Since we’ll be staying here for a month, we’ll have to get cleaning supplies and thoroughly clean the bathroom and kitchen tomorrow. It’s so annoying that the two places where cleanliness is most important are filthy. The views are great though.
I love this view. Thankfully, the weather is cooling down, so no mosquito bites tonight.
The “Backgammon Room”. It’s been years since I played Backgammon with my dear friend Sheila, but I’ll try to teach Kenric. The white stones are flat and easier to walk on, but after centuries, the are worn and very slippery, so it’s actually best to avoid them.
I almost died carrying the bags, climbing stairs and walking on cobblestone to this place, but the view from that terrace was worth it. If only the kitchen and bathroom were cleaner. The living room. I think it was Fast and Furious on TV.
