Look who’s finally healthy enough to go outside! Thanks to the nice guy at the pharmacy. I didn’t have enough cash (450,000 Vietnamese Dong / USD $19.30) to get both the daytime and nighttime medicine, so I said I’ll take only the nighttime one. He opened the daytime box, took out one of the two packs of tablets, and took the (350,000 Dong / $15.00) I had; 75% of the medicine for 78% of the price. Good deal, especially since just three doses saved Kenric’s life.
The nice man at this pharmacy was very flexible when selling me the very effective Deflucold.
As for the noodle soup dinner, we still don’t know what it was that we ate. I showed the girl two fingers asking for a table for two. She told us to sit down and the two bowls came within seconds. It was delicious; had chunks of fish, meatballs and fried hard-boiled little quail eggs. The thing that was wrapped in plastic and multiple layers of banana leaves was not pleasant at all. I think it’s fermented pork. I shouldn’t have taken such a big first bite.

I know everyone is supposed to just swipe everything off the table; makes it easier for the staff to sweep them up when closing, but I just couldn’t do it. Reminds me of the time I was on a business trip in Tennessee when I left peanut shells on the table. The waiter came by, sneered at me and then sent the peanut shells and skins flying onto the floor.
