We went to Sadrvan in Mostar for dinner. Kenric ordered the mini grill plate for one, and I ordered Vezirske Mahmudije. When the waiter brought this humongous “mini plate” of grilled meats and vegetables, and fries, he wished Kenric “Good luck!” There’s no fridge in the hotel room. Luckily, there were two kitties under the table next to us to help.
Two cats turned into four, and then into at least eight. The Japanese lady who was later seated at that table is a cat lover, and was enjoying their company. I had to count how many cats there were, and chop up enough pieces of meat so that every cat would get at least one piece when I sprinkled them onto the floor. Some cats waited patiently for more of our delicious food; some left to go eat at other tables.
A yellow cat stayed with us. I dropped a piece of meat for him, but he didn’t move. Kenric thought he was too full, but he was just sleeping. Another cat stole it, and that woke him up. We all had a good laugh. You snooze, you lose, Kitty! I made sure he got the next piece.
