Even though we spent only four nights in Tirana, Albania last November (2017), we really liked the place. We didn’t get to try too much of their food, or interact with locals. We hope to spend more time in Albania next year. It’s a beautiful country.

The Pyramid. It’s abandoned but it’s still a cool hangout spot. It was designed by the Communist Dictator Enver Hoxha’s daughter, and was used as his mausoleum until 1991.

Skanderbeg Square. Skanderbeg is a 15th century nobleman and hero, resisting the Ottomans which ended up ruling Albania and this region for about 500 years.
