We appreciate your encouraging messages including those explaining why you couldn’t afford to support it at this time. Explanations are definitely not necessary, but greatly appreciated. I am especially touched by friends who donated from Malaysia considering the unfavorable exchange rate of USD $1.00 = Ringgit Malaysia RM4.10. As I’ve written before, whether you donated because I twisted your arm or guilted you, or because you are a cat lover, or because you sympathized with the predicament Danijela and the cats are in, know that Kenric and I are very grateful.

We matched the $1,255, covered the GoFundMe fees ($43) and the Western Union fees ($120), and added enough money so that we could send Danijela 2,130 Euros. So, on January 22nd, I handed over USD $2,726.90 to the Western Union representative. Needless to say, Danijela is very appreciative of the donations. More importantly, your generosity and support have really lifted her spirit.
Little Kelvin (now Mako) has been adopted by a loving family and was neutered shortly before the new year. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts.

Danijela is Running Out of Names
I know some of you donated in memory of a beloved pet or an animal lover. Danijela and I thought it would be nice for her to name any new cats that don’t already have a name after your beloved animal or person so that their legacies can live on in beautiful Kotor, Montenegro. In fact, she thought it is a good idea because she had run out of names for the many many cats she encountered. She’s been calling some of them “Mac Mac” which is simply “Kitty Kitty” and all of them would come running at the same time! Then again, what smart kitty wouldn’t run to their Mama who takes such good care of them? So Donors, please do me another favor and provide the name(s) you would like Danijela to give to any nameless new kitty as an token of our appreciation!
