Look at how the universe celebrates our two-month stay (at home) in Athens. With an egg with two yolks.
I have not been outside in 56 days even though the rules here in Greece have relaxed since May 4th (10 days ago). People can go anywhere within their district, but they must wear a mask whenever they enter a building that is public space. However, Kenric said not too many people had masks on at the grocery stores yesterday. He went grocery shopping for the first time in 18 days. Restaurants are still only allowed to offer take-outs.
If our stay in Kotor, Montenegro between November and February can be summarized as “raining, cats, and dogs”, our stay here in Athens is “room and bored”.
Speaking of Kotor, some of you persevered and read the entire post about Gregi, our Kitizen Number One in Kotor. Sadly, both his potential adoptions fell through. There’s been new development today, and we are cautiously hopeful. I hope the two-yolk egg is a good sign.
Please wish this handsome dapper boy good luck.
