Our plan was to drive 45 minutes to Palm Springs, have lunch up on the mountain, and come home. Grandma suggested we stay for the sunset. After a small detour, we made it to the parking lot of Palm Springs Aerial Tramway around 2:40 pm. The tram ride up to Mountain Station took about ten minutes. The tram car actually rotates and the view was breathtaking all around. Up at Mountain Station, it was really cold and windy. Kenric stayed inside the restaurant. The food was OK, but the sunset was magnificent.
