We’ll take a five-hour train ride to Bratislava tomorrow. It’s the capital of Slovakia. We didn’t really do much in Kosice partly because it’s been really cold, and mostly because it’s off season. The museum and the tower we wanted to visit are both closed. Other than that, Kosice has big malls, small shops, and lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. Currently, the Christmas Market is the most happening place is town. It was so cold the other night that we went into Tesco to warm up.
Thankfully, the Airbnb loft we are in is quite spacious. We also like the building because it’s very rustic, aka old. I wish we had visited in the summer. The city must be very different. After all, Kosice was the 2013 European Capital of Culture. #Day186
