More delicious food tonight. We celebrated my nephew’s birthday, and Father’s Day with my uncle’s family in Klang. We’re going to miss all the food they feed us. Most of all, I will miss being in their company. Hanging out with my not-so-little-anymore cousins, and aunt and uncle reminds me of my days growing up in Malaysia. In the 22 years I’ve been away, I always knew I missed them. Recently, I learned how much I’ve missed out.

The Birthday Boy couldn’t come up with a birthday wish. I asked what he wanted. He said he couldn’t think of anything. I know he would have loved a model car, but I love that he didn’t “wish” or “ask” for it.
