After an unnecessarily long 12-hour journey from Hat Yai, Thailand, I’m glad the Airbnb unit saved the day. Check out that insanity of a sunken shower/tub! Knowing we would be checking in late, the host even got us some snacks which included one of my childhood favorites, Mamee. It’s that Malaysian hospitality again! This time, for under USD $40 per night.
I forgot to take a picture of the living room, but now there are already piles of laundry on the floor. Oh yeah, each wash-and-dry cycle takes four hours. Four hours! Empat jam! 四个小时! And now, Kenric says the shower doesn’t drain. Maybe we’ll get some goldfish tomorrow and make it a fish pond. That view tho.
