Yesterday, after checking in to the Airbnb room we reserved, we discovered there was actually no bathroom in the room as listed. The host said none the rooms in her heritage home has a bathroom, and that we must have been mistaken. Kenric showed her the listing and she said she must have made a mistake. We closed the room door and tried searching for a hotel room instead. The WiFi in the room was really bad and Kenric was even more determined to leave.
The lady was nice about it and apologized for the inconvenience. Kenric asked that she refund the money, and she said she was fine with that. However, Kenric had to request the refund from Airbnb. He submitted the request yesterday, but we haven’t heard back. This is the view from our new room. It costs twice as much, so I must sleep now because I have to get my money’s worth and wake up in time for “complimentary” breakfast.
