On our way to Joshua Tree National Park yesterday, we saw a big stretch of wildflowers not too far from Grandma’s house; along Sand Canyon Road at Crafton Hills College. We decided to drive Grandma there after church today. Check out the video I took.
Kenric said we would just do a quick drive to Yucaipa and turn around for home. I suggested we go to the restaurant in Yucaipa called Granlund’s to which we had wanted to bring his Aunt and Uncle.
Granlund’s is a whimsical place; always decorated for the season, currently for Easter and spring. The food was good but I don’t think Grandma got her Chile Rellenos fix as she hoped. My favorite part of the visit was the photo I snapped of Grandma and Kenric when we were leaving.
