When we attended a classical/Christmas music concert at Schonbrunn Palace the last time we were here, Kenric couldn’t stay awake, no matter how hard and how often I pinched him. So, a music concert was off the agenda this time. When we entered St. Peter’s Church this afternoon, a quintet was rehearsing for their Mozart Concert tonight. We stayed for about twenty minutes, and it was delightful. That saved us some Euros, saved Kenric an hour of his life, and saved me some embarrassment.
We went to two Christmas markets, Maria-Theresien-Platz (Maria Theresa Square) and Rathausplatz (City Hall Square). There were a lot of people at both. The vendors had some cool stuff, but many of the items are mass produced in China. When I turned a label over to see where the product was made, it said “Made in P.R.C.” Nice try, China. Nice try.
