We stumbled upon a roadside Chee Cheong Fun stall tonight. Chee Cheong Fun is sheets of rice noodles topped with different flavored sauces (sweet, spicy and savory), and choice of fish balls, fish cakes, stuffed tofu, stuffed lady’s fingers (okra), fried wontons, etc. Of course, I had to have some. It was my childhood favorite breakfast item when I lived in Kuala Lumpur until I was four.
“Just a snack”, I told Kenric. We were actually on our way to get Nasi Kandar for dinner. Mister liked it so much, we decided to skip Nasi Kandar and got another order, and two more orders for tomorrow. The ones I had in Ipoh were great, but these were superb. We’re going to miss KL.
Update on the cats we met last night
We were going to go visit the cats we met last night and eat at the Cat Feeder’s stall. As our Grab drove by earlier this afternoon, the area where the cats were was cleaned up; all the concrete, wood and trash were gone. I hope the kitties found a new safe spot.
