After running quite a few errands this afternoon, Kenric got a haircut. This is the first time I have requested that he goes to get a haircut. The one he got a few weeks ago was horrible. Today, he went to Grandpa’s barber and I’d say the haircut was fixed. LOL.
After that, we went for a drive. A street vendor’s colorful umbrella caught our attention. He was selling fresh cut fruit. We were so glad we turned around and bought some. The “Everything” fruit cup was delicious especially those pineapples. The vendor also sprinkled Tajin powder (chile pepper, salt and lime) over it which made it more delicious.
After living a very structured (relatively speaking, of course) life for the past few months, the act of simply turning around to buy a fruit cup from a roadside vendor seems so spontaneous to us. It was surprisingly fun.
