Hello from Vienna, Austria. We had dinner at König von Ungarn, the hotel we stayed at in 2015. The food was good. There were three musicians playing in the dining area. After every few songs, they would go to a table to take requests. When they were at a table close to ours, I told Kenric we should request “Besame Mucho” if they ask us. “That’s not very Austrian.” Well, I know very few songs that would be suitable for the atmosphere by name.
Of course, within a minute, they started playing that song for another table. The one and only song I could think of has been played. I said we should request “I left my heart in San Francisco” because I did. Kenric laughed a little too hard at that because he was imagining people throwing things at us. The musicians went for their break and resumed at a different section later. I would have gone for “La Vie en Rose”, but Kenric wanted “All About That Bass”.
I took a photo of Kenric in the interior courtyard last time. We wanted to recreate it, but we messed up how his legs should be crossed. Later, we walked around the Christmas Market in Stephansplatz (St. Stephen’s Square). The market closed at 9:00 pm which we thought was oddly early. As my friend likes to say, “It’s Friday night! It’s Friday night!”
