The Dogs of Mount Dajti
I poured all the cat food I had for them. The Mom and the pups ate very quickly. The Dad stayed away the entire time. It was obvious they were still hungry.

The margaritas are the best I’ve had since San Francisco. We told the bartender they are as great as those in California. He was quite happy to hear that.
Saying Goodbye
She tried leaving a few times, but always came back in for more scratches, kisses, and a few more bites. Finally, she went up the stairs in the rain.
Kotor Tidbits
In the Malay and Indonesian languages, “kotor” means dirty, but this ancient city is cleaner than most cities we have visited recently.
Our Lady of Health
At the next lookout point we decided not go any further, because it was quite dark. I’m glad we didn’t hike all the way up. It gives us an excuse to come back because I am so in love with this place.
Dinner Companions
It’s past 1:00 am now, and the rain has stopped. I put food out, and three different cats have eaten, but no Waxy. I was the fourth wheel at one dinner, and got stood up at another.
A Warm Place for Waxy
After seeing her doze off or sleep many times, Kenric pointed out that this afternoon was the first time she slept on her side and actually rested her head. That really warmed our hearts.
