Another day, another bear. This is making it look too easy for the little niece. I’m afraid she won’t realize how rare bear sightings are.
We woke up to pouring rain. Definitely not a great day for whitewater rafting, but it’s non-refundable. It was really cold when we got into the Athabasca River. Thankfully, it stopped raining, but my sister and niece were not happy about being wet and cold.
Later in the evening, we went to Athabasca Falls and checked out where the raft was launched this morning. It’s such a beautiful view. The Athabasca Falls was frighteningly powerful and treacherous. The sun finally came out after 8 pm and set at 10:21 pm.
