This afternoon, we walked five miles (8 km) in the hot sun to Monastery Beach. I’ll tell you about that ordeal some other time. I have to say it was still worth it.
About 110 miles (177 km) north of us is the city of Durres, the epicenter of a 5.6 earthquake this afternoon. We didn’t feel anything, but there is damage in Tirana (23 miles / 37 km east of Durres), where Kenric and I stayed for five weeks. It’s Albania’s biggest earthquake in 30 years. Be safe and have a good weekend.
