A very late addition to our collection from Europe; a personalized souvenir in French from the French Government. Doing 58 kilometers per hour in a 50 kilometers per hour zone AND not paying the fine within 60 days? That’s a total of 135€, merci beaucoup!
That’s equivalent to doing 36 miles per hour in a 31 miles per hour zone for a fine totaling USD $162.46. For that amount of a fine, you’d think Kenric was going bullet-train speed in the French countryside. But really, the issue was more because the speed limit signs were seldom posted.
At least the process of settling the fine was painless. Downloaded the app (the default language was English), entered the credit card number and voila!
